WELCOM ON THIS PAGE,

The picture on the homepage is a picture I took from the bridge of the specialized chemical tanker "Dutch Mariner" owned by former VOPAK Shipping , now Gebr. Broere Dordrecht sailing in the Bay of Biscay

There is a site of this company , So if you want to go there click : Dutch Sailor : (Note;there is no link back)

After almost 40 years at sea , of which 31 years as a ship's captain , I am retired now and started to dig in the cities and country files to find my ancesters , of which I know , many were mariners too of which several drowned at sea or died abroad (so fortunately I did better)

So far the pedigree is not very extensive , but will grow over the years , and if you recognise a name or family tie , don't hesitate to let me know and send me the information

Please let me know what you think of this site and send me tips and/or recommandations for improvement , all suggestions , whatsoever ,are most welcome

Information from this site may be freely copied without fees , for non commercial reasons only , but with a proper safeguard to the privacy of the mentioned people
When you copie parts of this pedigrees please let me know , and if required we can link our pages

My intentions are to put all the ancesters , for as far as I can find them , on this site , my own as well as my wife's family

My fathers side : Fam. van't Wout & Fam.Williams
My mothers side : Fam. van Dorp & Fam. Stam

My wife's fathers side : Fam. Immerzeel & Fam. Drost
My wife's mothers side : Fam. Gravesteijn & Fam. van der Kooy

So ,still a lot to search and dig in history
